Dr. Ranani has been serving in Somers and beyond for over 40 years. The practice has grown with associates and independent ophthalmologists using the most updated in technology. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and an Ajunct faculty member at Suny College of Optometry. The practice serves as an externship site for 4th year students. Dr. Ranani is former president of the NY optometric council and the Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam Optometric Society. He has published and lectured on topics including, refractive surgery, dry eye, and technology. He's consulted and lectured for Stifel Investment. He's been involved in various clinical investigations for pharma industry, as well as beta testing. The practice has been named for "Best Practices" by Cooper Vision.

DR. MICHELLE HARRISON
Optometrist
Dr. Michelle Harrison, O.D. has been with Somers Eye Center since 2009. She practiced Optometry in Manhattan, New York before joining us.
Dr. Harrison acquired her Doctorate in Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Binghamton University. She has completed Clinical training in OMNI Eye Specialists and Veterans Administration Medical Center. She also hold Professional Memberships in the New York and American Optometric Associations. Dr. Harrison is Licensed in the State of New York and is Board Certified.

DR. GEORGE PAUL
Optometrist
Dr. George Paul, OD is a residency-trained, comprehensive optometrist who provides primary eye care.
Dr. Paul attended St. John’s University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He also was an ophthalmic technician and completed a post baccalaureate pre-optometry program from SUNY Purchase prior to entering optometry school.
Dr. Paul obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico in 2015. His extensive training included externships throughout clinics in Puerto Rico as well within the U.S. (Omni Eye Services and NY LASIK Center). Post optometry school, Dr. Paul completed an ocular disease focused residency program at Omni Eye Services in conjunction with Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. The program provided advanced training in the co-management of cataracts, glaucoma, refractive surgery and anterior/posterior eye disease. In addition, Dr. Paul is part of the American Optometric Association as well as the American Academy of Optometry.

DR. MARC GROSSMAN
Integrative Medical Optometrist
Dr. Marc Grossman, O.D., LA.c, is an influential pioneer, leader, and practitioner in integrative eye care.
In practice since 1980, his comprehensive background includes degrees in Optometry, Biology, Physical Education and Learning Disabilities, coupled with yoga,nutrition, Chinese medicine and acupuncture. This orientation provides the foundation for an integrated approach to vision and its influence on the body, mind and spirit of each patient. He is dedicated to helping those with a wide range of conditions from myopia and dry eyes to potentially vision threatening diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma
Dr. Grossman is founder of naturaleyecare.com, the largest consumer eyecare resource of its kind, and a respected author of 5 books, most recently co-author of the acclaimed “Natural Eye Care, Your Guide To Healthy Eyes and Healing.” He also teaches workshops for health care professionals and physicians, and is a frequent guest on local and national media.
Dr. Kayvan Keyhani MD
Cataract and Oculoplastic Surgeon
Dr. Keyhani is a graduate of the Ohio State University where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree. Dr. Keyhani went on to medical school at the Ohio State University. He then received his Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University and then completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary which is ranked in the top ten best hospitals for disorders of the eye, ear, nose and throat. Dr. Keyhani then went on to complete two fellowships in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Vermont and the University of Calgary. Dr. Keyhani enjoys traveling abroad doing medical missions and has been to the Philippines and Haiti several times. Dr. Keyhani resides in Somers New York with his wife and two children.

Dr. Kayvan Keyhani is a board certified ophthalmologist with specialty training in small incision cataract surgery and eyelid plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and teaches the residents both cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery. He is a three-time award winner of the prestigious residents teaching award given to the most outstanding surgical professor.
